Cracklins' are awesome. Actually just finished off my last batch of them at the beach the other day from when the Lady Friend and I went and saw the USS Yorktown.

I'm more of a fan of the S&W Model 36 myself. Just saying. Gotta have my exposed hammer.

The 638 has a shrouded hammer so you can still go SA.

That's why I want a 638. I plan on practicing with it alot so I will be proficient with it when I turn 21 and get a CCL. I do not think a gun with a fully exposed hammer would suit my needs

Yeah, one of my Fraternity brother's has a 638 and I hate trying to go SA with that shrouded hammer. Always feel like I'm about to blow a toe off.
