I carry a 4 3/4" Coleman fixed blade in a Nylon sheath on my belt. I don't wear it to school obviously but I do anywhere else.

Technically a blade length of 4 3/4" is legal so why not? :D

Haha. I just carry my Swiss Army everyday. If it comes to a knife fight, well, I'm just gonna make use of either my Glock 21 or Springfield Night Compact .45, then point and laugh at the insepidness of a gun fight.

I'd rather carry a gun than a big knife, but until I'm 21 I have no choice. I'd rather have some means to defend myself than nothing at all.

But I agree with you there, despite studying knife fighting techniques, I doubt my abilities to take down an armed insurgent would be very probable. :o
