I was going to check if his "biography" says "man" and "us" but he doesn't seem to have one.

He sounds coherent enough and he's on topic so I don't think he's a bot.

Is Colt, Springfield, etc still manufacturing CLASSIC looking (like Yournamehere's one) guns.
I mean model 1911a1, not models based on 1911 like Kimber Pro II which is obviously different from original design but based on it.

(Sorry for my poor english, I'm from Europe)

In this case I'm talking strictly about US Army M1911s, not commercial production (which was obviously only Colt), or M1911A1s. Alot of companies make copies of GI M1911A1s today, some closer than others. Colt made both M1911 and M1911A1 reproductions recently that even duplicate the markings.

What about the Norinco 1911? Someone is selling one near home, but here nobody like chinese guns...

Norinco guns are either surprisingly good or surprisingly bad (and considering that you expect them to be bad in the first place, that's really bad). The 1911s are one of the good ones, a lot of guys in Canada build on them. I understand they're pretty hard to come by in the US because of the import ban, if the price is right I say buy.

The Norinco cost a little less than a Sistema Colt Modelo 1928 (licenced 1911) or a Ballester Molina. This chinese company is famous here by its carbines, i donīt know anything about their pistols quality.

High Standard makes an OK M1911A1 copy, but the sides of the beavertail are sharp as knives. In my opinion, the best guns I have ever fired were
1.Winchester Model 52
2.S&W 686+P
3.Kimber 1911's
4.Browning Micro A bolt hunter
5.That SIG-Hammerli .22
6.Winchester Model 88
7.M1 Carbine
8.Colt AR-15 (pre ban)
9.H&K SL7 in .22 Mag
10.Stag Arms 2TL
