Much better!

But what are we going to do about all these spammers? Do you want to temporarily close down the registration feature?

New users will now need to be approved by an administrator.

I have not been able to do any edits so far due to my time being limited for a short time, but it seems fast. Wow, what a difference from the slow loading

from before....... ;)

Why, it's faster than the homecoming queen trying to get the hell away from me! ;)

It's faster than that Neo-Nazi I was chasin' the other day.He was fast, but not fast enough ;). (Just kidding, there aren't any noticeable Neo-Nazi bastards around here)

Sorry to disappoint the yes-people here, but at this post's time the main wiki is still horribly slow.

Not for me. Just now it took about half a second for the main page to load.

There's no telling how many spammers were already registered prior to Chris' changes and are just lying in wait to strike, though. The most recent spammer report I made in the New Spammers topic, for example. I got that message after registration was altered to admin approval.

Of course, once they rear their ugly heads, we've got MPM and MT lying in wait to... well, you know.
