How bout this?

:D No problem. If I had to guess on that gun, I'd say it is a Mauser 1934 Humpback pistol, but I'll see what everyone else thinks.

Almost certainly a Mauser 1934 - incidentally, quite a popular private-purchase pistol for Japanese officers.

I got a couple from the 1978 dawn of the dead.

The shotgun in the first pic is a Mossberg 500 - you can tell by the lifter. The rifle is a Marlin 336 by the receiver. The revolver could be a Model 10, can't tell by those pictures.
|
Hmm I didn't suspect the Mossberg at first because the trigger guard had sort of a sharp trapezoid shape to it.
Maybe it was a trick of the light. |
Okay guys, here's one for you. I'm screencapping Face/Off, so I'm wondering what the sniper rifle is Castor Troy (Nicolas Cage) uses during the opening scene.
Here's two of the three shots: http://i31.tinypic.com/2vkzwxj.jpg ^ This shot shows the safety switch located inside the trigger guard. This scratched the Remington 700/M40 rifles, since the have a flick safety to the left of the reciever tang. http://i28.tinypic.com/23uen3n.jpg ^ This is the best shot we see of it, so it's all I can give you. So, any ideas? |
I'm seeing a lot of examples of the Remington 700 that do not have this safety, and a similar trigger guard/ overall build. I wouldn't rule it out just yet.
|
That's not the safety, that's the release for the floorplate. It's a Remington 700 alright, all the non-detachable mag models have it.
