Nope, but it is a .38 special.

I just looked up the Taurus 85, it is almost a dead ringer. Close but no cigar.

Nope. It is a rare gun that was made to compete with Colt's Detective Special. The manufacturer made approximately 5000 but then only released a limited number to the public.
