The gun is shoot most is a 140 dollar savage, where 20 bucks buys you almost 600 rounds of ammo. When you think of that its not much. 140 dollars is like 20 value meals. Bring a lunch from home for a couple weeks and you can afford cheap plinking fun. And even a litle 22 will coninve a bad guy to go rob someone else.

I like the look of the target sighted winchester 52 id love a savage mk2 fvt with the target sights but the thing has an ugly ass plastic stock and rifles deserve wood.

My grandfather gave me his model 52 (normal sights though) and it is a tack driver
