"Hal "fans the hammer" on his Single Action Army into the sky while inebriated. Shortly thereafter, Otto drunkenly reveals that he has been molesting Francis for several months, causing Hal to turn the pistol onto him off screen."

"The same robber, this time casually brandishing the revolver while contemplating the offer to receive sexual favors from Lois in exchange for them leaving Craig unharmed."

Now, I haven't watched the show since it aired, but I don't remember anything like this happening. Still funny, though

Lol, I did get a chuckle out of that too. And from what I remember, sounds all pretty legit to me.

In my case, really need to start several pages that I've got screencaps sitting around for.. I'll get to it! :p

I like your style, dude. ;)

Speaking of which, hoping to finally make my first gun purchase in the next month or so. Been trying to actually scrounge some extra currency stock but living near hand-to-mouth as I've been for a while now has made that tough. I'll make further updates in the more relevant forum though. Otherwise.. other than having a birthday yesterday, not shit going on with me. Bah, I'm a boring motherfucker.

I'll be old enough to drive in a week. That's pretty weird to think about.

Wow, you're young. Now I feel old.

Yeah, but there's literally more guns than people in Afghanistan, though.

While there's nothing really odd or particularly noteworthy, I can just imagine the heads on sites like The Onion: Big Ben shutting down, to be replaced with digital clock. :D

The Suck Fairy. Oh I hate the Suck Fairy. Don't re-read books that you have cherished childhood memories of for the Suck Fairy has been there. A few days ago I re-read "Lucifer's Hammer". A favorite disaster novel that I read in 1985 when I was a young and impressionable 17. Sadly the Suck Fairy had attacked it. It wasn't the novel I remembered. Not at all. You've been warned.

Got to shoot for the first time ever last weekend, a Beretta O/U 12G. I can't exactly remember the model, pretty sure it was a 683.

The one I used is at the back. Maybe someone could help identify them?https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/Ep...O=w345-h613-no

Spartan198 08-17-2017 11:09 PM

And I'm pretty sure I'm about to get banned from the Official 2K Forum. :D I'm getting sick and tired of people calling game developers "lazy" for stupid little nitpicks and I referred to said people as "condescending, self-entitled little brats."

One of the many things I like about IMFDb is that when somebody's being an asshat, we don't get punished for calling them out on it. So if I should ever start acting like an asshat here (and there's been a few instances in the past where I have, I'll admit), somebody please call me out on it, okay? :)

It doesn't take much for moderators in any online community to come down hard like that on a regular basis. If the imfdb forum got much more traffic with many more users, you'd eventually see that kind of behaviour sooner rather than later.

I recall about seven (eight?) years ago we had a couple members (now banned) who were causing more than a few waves. We gave them a lot of leeway, but they just kept at it. So they were eventually shut down. But the site has slowed down from that time so everybody can be relaxed. Also we don't seem to have the type of pernicious personalities here that some sites attract. Crossing my fingers it stays that way.

Spartan198 08-18-2017 10:31 PM

To be fair, it's the WWE portion I frequent and the WWE video games fanbase is notorious for having more condescending, self-entitled assholes than any other.

It's called the Online Disinhibition Effect. Sooner or later we'll be seeing more of that kind of behaviour assuming this forum and website doesn't become a ghost town.

Incivility and antisocial behaviour in online gaming has practically become standard, unfortunately, partly due to the Online Disinhibition Effect mentioned above, and partly because there's no such thing as penalties for Unsportsmanlike Conduct during online gaming, unlike in real-life pro sports matches like at Wimbledon. Even the most famous gaming clans, like Faze Clan, have members who rage online. No one calls anyone out on it, so the behaviour persists.

It's got nothing to do with actually playing the game, it's some people's attitudes toward the developers. If some feature or character they ask for doesn't get into the game, the developers are attacked as being "lazy" or "not caring about the fans." But when said feature or character is included, instead of being shown any gratitude, they're still derided because it "should have already been in." If a feature doesn't work right, it's because the devs "didn't work on it enough", but when they take their time and try to get said feature working correctly, they're derided for "taking too long."

It's really a no win situation with these kinds of people, who unfortunately seem to be a significant portion of the fanbase. If it wasn't the only way to have my wants for the games heard, I wouldn't bother with the ungrateful bastards.

You in Houston? My sister lives down there, but in Tomball and she's fine.

I'm near NASA. Everyone is fine

I'm really tired of all the angry people and all the offended people. I don't care what the topic or issue is right now or how justified the anger and indignation is. Just tired of all the anger and indignation...........so I got some mellow tunes playing and I'm just kicked back.

Yep. Just did a credit freeze with all three credit bureaus.

Well, Hugh Hefner's dead. Made it to 91, I don't think "he has a good run" really covers it.

S&Wshooter 09-30-2017 02:47 AM

From what I hear, he got into a lot of funny business with underage girls

S&Wshooter 10-04-2017 11:46 AM

Me, sitting in my flood damaged house: "Be cool if I could catch a break for a minute"

Life: "I'm all out of breaks, but I do have a nice, brand new 'increased risk of skin cancer', new in box that you can have"

Nice to know that our military has a sense of humor.

Cancer scare over, got the all clear. Had a biopsy done on a suspect dark spot, came back precancerous, but my doctor cut out the whole damn thing just in case rather than just a layer of skin when collecting tissue
