That's the guy who sniped several hundred Russian soldiers, including trained snipers sent specifically to kill him, using his unscoped hunting rifle, got shot in the face with an explosive round and lived (only passing out after killing the guy who shot him), and almost lived to 100

I think he had racked up an impressive amount of kills with a suomi submachinegun too. I believe he actually took the scope off since he could keep his head lower behind iron sights and make himself a smaller target.

Exactly. He never had to move his head to look through a scope like the Russian snipers did

SniperCentral shows him at 542 sniper kills, unlisted submachinegun kills. Unofficially he may have up to 800 sniper kills, the subgun kills rumored to be up over 200. So he probably killed over 1000 enemies. Seems like a complete badass defending his nation from commies. When will there be a movie about him?

I thought he used a finnish Mosin Nagant?

You can hunt with a Mosin. He already owned it before the war started, and he refused to take a rifle offered to him by the government because it was scoped
