I want my book to have a futuristic feel to it. Not like a Jetsons style feel to it, but I want to have advance technology like iris identification and video phones. Any suggestions to make it a believable future?

You go into virtual reality to meet with people instead of just looking at a camera and a screen. I guess to help fully immerse you in the group dynamics of the meeting or whatever bullshit excuse corporate overlords of the future will come up with to force their employees into ridiculous situations.

Yes, basically give the face-to-face feel when its impractical to actually meet (like long distance.)
