Desert Eagle and S&W Model 500.
Hey... somebody had to say it, so it might as well be me. |
*everyone rises to their feet and makes a slow clap that builds into a thunderous applause*
good job man, good job.... yeah what about certain sniper rifles? i dunno, maybe you've seen one. |
Like that one super-duper expensive HK one that can't do any better a job than a .308 caliber AR at a fraction of the price can... the PSG-something?

I think anything Kel Tec makes is overrated. Some of their guns are fun, who doesn't like a folding carbine? But seriously not reliable for self defnese.
2 overblown issues: IL smith revolvers and MIM parts. Id rather smiths not have the IL, but i see so many people refuse to buy them because of this. When I turn 21 im buying a 686p, IL and all. MIM is mostly said to be a 1911 problem. Some smiths, etc. MIM has proved to be actually stronger than steel and much less expensive, and easier to make more compicated parts with, and to better spec. It seesms to be more an elitish group that bashes MIM all day. |
PSG-1 is what you're thinking of. Also, the WA2000, wich is never seen outside of movies (usualy as a shotgun):) and computer games.

The m500 has a purpose actually, a good one. Bear stopping power. Carry a gun to defend from dangerous game when out hiking, fishing, a BUG for hunting. Unfortunately, a bunch of idiots buy them to just own a hand cannon even when they can't control a 9mm properly.

I do think the snubnosed 500 mag is stupid though. Next there will be an ultralite frame....where is the puke icon for smilies anyway?
I saw a smith 629PD, .44 mag ultralight. That thing is stupid, may add that in. |
