The SA Pro Modle is still an airsoft prop.

In my opinion no gun image is better than having some toy airsoft gun image.

Airsoft sort of de-legitimizes the site.

You know I was the guy who figured out it was a Pro and I promptly found a REAL picture of one that matched the gun in the game, but some prick came in and replaced it with the airsoft version. I don't know if it was because it was a GunsAmerica image or because that person was a prick, but at one time there was a real gun pic for the Pro.

I'm gonna try to reverse the airsoft picture for the pro.

I'm offended that he seemingly thought at least one of us wasn't keen enough to notice. Of course, the seemingly nonexistent gas tube beneath the SIR is also a tell-tale sign...

I'll be glad when this game finally comes out. Hopefully people like ShootinPutin187 (who put the airsoft pic up) will forget about the page then.

personally I say make it a rule that we are to have no Airsoft images unless it's a weapon that we don't have an image of that model of firearm. I'm not talking about modifications to firearms like grips or different stocks i'm talking about the base factory fresh weapon. I say this as my Mossberg and Ruger 10/22 look nothing like how they left the factory. While i have friends who play airsoft and i do use it for training purposes I'm totally against it on this site.

I completely agree. I love airsoft and AEGs, but like was said on the discussion page, using airsoft replica pics makes the site look unprofessional.

So the concensus among Admin and long term regular users is that there are to be no Airsoft images and the ones we have now are just placeholders until we can get photographs of real firearms to replace them.

If so then could MPM or one of the other mods please make a note in the forum rules if they haven't already.
