I just saw it yesterday, very good movie.

Good film, enjoyed seeing the Neopup at the end too.

I never got a chance to see it because all my friends are too lame to invite me anywhere, so I just read the plot description on IMDb. Not nearly as in depth as seeing the actual movie I'm sure, but it works.

If this movie were a woman, it would be a very hot one, and I would have sex with it, several times.

Seriously though, I think it's one of the best films I've seen in a while. Very original, very convincing, deep story with just enough action. Very rarely do I feel that I got my money's worth at the theater (and it was a matinee so the ticket was two and a half dollars cheaper).

For the record, the Compact model seen briefly was a 92SB Compact, and the Beretta held by the MNU Security leader either changes between an FS and SB, or is an SB the entire time. In a lot of shots it has the shiny blue finish and a round trigger guard.

Jackson didn't have much to do with the film beyond producing. He didn't write it or direct it.

I've heard this movie is good, but it sounds like it's a bit of leftist propaganda about immigration.

Actually it's more of a comparison to an event in South Africa. I forgot what it's called, but one of my favorite online critics did a video about it. Watch it for his explanations.

Apartheid. The director lived in Africa during Apartheid and based the movie on his experiance. He just replaced Nazis with Aliens.

Apartheid was when Germans in Africa oppressed Brits during WWII. That is, if school taught me something right.

Then again, it would be more like the Aliens are the Brits, and now the Brits are the Nazis. Weird transition. :confused:
