Not really, its a movie that may have been cool until now, i had been lookign forward to, but this new news kills it. And theres not much coming out, Id been following Battle La since production but saw it already.

I wanted to see "Battle: Los Angeles", because I like alien invasion flicks and military movies (and this one's both). But after reading some reviews, I think I'm gonna pass and wait for BluRay. The consensus seems to be that it's shit.

I'm still interested in "Sucker Punch", but again, only if it gets good reviews, and/or I can find someone who wants to see it with me.

I usually just see a movie that looks good and form my own opinion about it.

Not to veer the conversation back to the new Red Dawn, but these people actually watched the uncut version and reviewed it, and point out just how difficult it'll be to swap out Red China for North Korea, plotwise.

Otherwise, they're saying the movie as it stands right now isn't half bad. I like how they gave Jed a better backstory. Looking back at the original Red Dawn, they barely give Jed a backstory at all, just saying he used to QB the Wolverines.

So they're just ruining an otherwise decent movie to placate a government that probably won't allow this film to be shown anyway. (Even with NK bad guys, because NK's number one sponsor is...)

The way they decribe it, I guess it's another movie I can safely ignore.

I hope the uncensored version with chicom bad guys is released thats the only way ill see it.

I want to see Paul and Battle: LA. But other than that I'll just get my movies from Netflix.

Id like them to continue plot of the first few x men instead of going to prequels only, but the cold war setting seems cool.
