H&K retractable stocks suck, and not just on MP5s...on all of their metal long guns. They're uncomfortable, only have three length settings (fully retracted, 1/4 retracted, fully extended), and they develop a "wobble" after extended use. Look at any pictures of SF guys or SWAT units carrying MP5s, and you see many of the collapsible stocks are slanted downwards due to the wobble. That's why most people who still use MP5s now fit them with other (better) types of stocks. |
