I can easily find a decent AK photo, I just don't want to infringe anyone's copyright. And if I go around deleting photo captions, somebody is probably going to revert them and try to get me banned. It's helpful to talk about things beforehand.

Agreed, but you are being very confrontational with your postings. Perhaps that isn't your intent, but that's how you are coming on. Now you can just say "that's your problem" and drive on (business as usual), but I get the impression you're heading for a wall and eventually others will stop paying attention to you. And some of your ideas aren't bad I might add.

Sorry but that AK photo predates imfdb and I've always always always hated it. I get riled up by odd things.

Not really, but original Soviet guns are really hard to get a hold of, in order to be truly authentic. I've worked very hard getting the AK variants that I already have. Here's an idea. Let's say .... I quit taking pics of guns for IMFDB, and hand the job off to PersonOfInterest. :D

I'm fine with the pic. At least it's a real firearm and not an airsoft clone, like numerous pics uploaded to the site are.

Airsoft pics were usually place holders until the site could get good replacements. You would not believe how many airsoft pics were on this site before I starting taking gun photos for IMFDB. But I wonder how many are numerous? We've been pretty good about replacing most of the Airsoft pics. There are a few but are you still seeing a lot?
