Equilibrium isn't based on 1984. It borrows elements from it along with elements from Fahrenheit 451 and Brave New World.

I know it just has elememnts, I just think its a much better story. 1984 I just didnt like the characters, writing, etc.

I have to read 1984. I almost got to read The Heart of Darkness, but the school thought it would be awesome to put me with an English teacher I don't particularly like

I serious want to read William S. Burroughs' Junky. I got Naked Lunch for Christmas, but I'm waiting to finish The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest before I move on to that.

I think stephen hunter is the man, writes about shooting and actually knows what hes talking about, and Bob Lee Swagger is the man, he also has real people using a fake name, but changes the name so slightly its funny, In I Sniper a sniper shoots "Hanoi Jane Flanders":eek:

i left it on pause while i took a shower and ate dinner

And yes game is rediculously fun, just do rediculous stunts, blow up a lot of stuff, more mindless entertainment for just relaxing and taking your mind off things.
