After much procrastination, I've finally been able to sit down and write (I'm at my grandparent's house and there's not a lot of things to distract me with the exception of a first edition copy of Les Miserables).

Who hires the mercs in your story and why?

I hire them to safely retrieve Javier from the bottom of that big ass sinkhole so I can kick his ass and get the $5 he owes me :D

The mercs are hired by a man named Janders, who works for Somolia's now failing goverment. Somolia is once again at civil war. He wants the mercs to take down one of the top militia leaders, so they can have the upper hand in the war.

And im guessing janders has a few troops of his own? What are they like?

Janders is just a contact. He isn't related to anything military.
