I just saw S&W's new 1911, and while it looks like something I would buy, I hate their finish options: "Ugly ass 2 tone" or "fuck off, it only comes in 2 tone".

I fucking hate that. Every 3rd 1911 I see that has all the features I want, but then I see that it only comes in 2 tone (I'm looking at you, Kimber)

I like 2 tone when done right, stainless/chrome frame, black slide, wood grips.

I hate kimbers warranty, they dont stand behind their product, especially at the price.

BTW, the smith E series has an all black with wood grips and a stainless with lasergrips, not 2 tone only.

I liked it, too, but I keep wondering what Bill Watterson must think of people taking his strips and editing them this way in Photoshop. He was vehemently opposed to putting out "Calvin & Hobbes" T-shirts (or any other type of merchandise) because he thought it would ruin the "integrity" of the strip, so I'm guessing he'd get an aneurysm if he found out people were editing the dialogue of his strips to reference "Fight Club".
