Right, and normally when you quote a particular person, it seems reasonable to expect you're addressing the person who wrote the quote, as opposed to the person(s) being addressed by the quote's author.

You thought I was saying that you should demand an apology from yourself?

It wasn't really obvious that "it" referred to an apology. It sounded like you were saying I should demand they act a certain way. At the very least, if you quoted them, then me, or addressed them after you quoted me, might've been more obvious. Of course, you'll notice that I did ask you to clarify, so I wasn't exactly sure what to think.

Looking back on my original post in which I told Burt and Zulu they should demand an apology, I realize I probably could have made it significantly clearer than I did that I was specifically addressing them

Not that I have any problem with David Bowie ("Fame" is one of my favorite old skool party songs), but you have to admit that he does look a little bit feminine, even in that pic. The androgynous trend in pop music from the 70s and 80s is something I still find puzzling to this day.

To quote the Chappelle show's Prince skit: "The guy who looked the most like a bitch was getting all the women."

I just did about 90% of the economics work I was assigned for the next two days. Now I'm going to have to put with my teacher asking me why I am not working like everyone else

Well, the guy is bisexual and his "Ziggy Stardust" motif is pretty flamboyant.

A message to Zulu Two Six and Smithy:

You guys badmouthed Iggy Pop, one of the most infuential rock stars. He invented stage-diving. Therefore, you have poor taste in music.
