Alright. I did research into forum spamming for an article a few years ago and when I saw the forums were being spammed I called the fellow who I was researching for and actually wrote the article, and he told me what I should suggest. I can call him again if things get more serious, or just call him again period if you like.
What I do is find the person who spams, delete everything else they post (it's an "all-at-once" option), and then select to ban them. I don't have a whole lot of options when it comes to banning spammers but I've found this to work pretty well. I'm not sure I can do what you suggested but I'll try and see next time someone spams.
